Cancellation Charges Policy

Note: Cancellation charges are not statutory fees. They are listed separately from Infinite Notary Services’ standard service fees and will appear as a separate line item on your invoice.

⏰ Cancellations with Less Than 3 Hours’ Notice

Fee: Full Original Fee

If cancellation is made less than two hours before the scheduled appointment, a charge equal to the full service and travel fee will apply. This includes notary, Form I-9 verification, or signing agent services, as outlined in your estimate or invoice.

🚫 No-Show (Missed Appointment)

Fee: Full Original Fee

Failure to appear at the scheduled appointment time without prior notice will result in a full cancellation fee, including any applicable travel charges.

🪪 Identity Verification Issues

Fee: Full Original Fee

Texas law requires all signing parties to present valid, government-issued photo ID. If the transaction cannot proceed due to identification issues or failure to provide a credible witness, the full fee will be charged.

⏳ Late Arrival Preventing Completion

Fee: Full Original Fee

Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes unless otherwise stated. If a late arrival prevents the transaction from being completed within the allotted time and cannot be extended, the full service and travel fee will apply.

❌ Unable or Unwilling to Proceed

Fee: Full Original Fee

If a transaction cannot be completed due to the customer’s inability or refusal to proceed (e.g., missing witnesses), the full service and travel fee will be charged.
